When covid takes it all.
In 2009 in the dark days of the GFC I was browsing the local Barnes & Noble and ran into a rack of Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged just reprinted. It was for me, as for many I’m told, an awakening. You’re never the same after reading it, even if like me you’ve read thousands of books. If only society could be organized around the Sacred Pledge:

Part being an objectivist is believing the truth can be known, that is it better to be known, that one should seek the truth and rationality above all things. If my premises are wrong, then I disown them. As John Galt says “to maintain a contradiction is to abdicate one’s mind and to evict oneself from the realm of reality.” Rand would not like this world. In Covidland there is narrative, and there is hate directed as those who question it. In Covidland there are no prizes for getting it right, the prizes go to those who embrace contradiction.
Covidland exposed a side of human nature that is so ugly. You can’t unsee it.
The information war continues relentlessly at all times. Google will no longer show you more than 400 results for any given search term, even though it looks like there are more. (try it) Inside those are many duplicates, there are about 150 unique answers that you are allowed to see for any given question.
Maybe covid is over now, but the objectivist in me says its not. The masters of our universe love it like this; divide and conquer. Alex Berenson had a great piece the other day with stories from every day folks telling how covid mandates and measures affected their marriages.
One of the stories is from a man who knew “what was going on” and warned his pregnant wife not to take the shot. She did and the pregnancy ended as you would expect, that is if you are at all paying attention. He states “I felt betrayed that she didn't value what I believe to be one of my greatest strengths and passions, the pursuit of truth.”
Indeed. This is Covidland. That is when it has taken everything; obliterating not only truth but the idea that truth has value. Truth has negative efficacy in Covidland.
It used to be that throwing babies in the volcano, sacrificing the young to save the lives of the old, was considered an abomination. Now it is sacrament. This is happening, not as much as they want, but it’s happening and it is pure fucking evil.
These are dark days. Pitch black. Will truth ever come back? As the fear gets cranked up in the coming weeks will we see the worst face of humanity back on full display? One thing you can count on is that before Covidland is over, there will be justice, whether from divine retribution or something more genetic in nature. It’s hard to forgive people who aren’t sorry.

Absolutely. I believe we are going to actually get to see this happen. There's just way too much evidence available that proves that what has been done over the last 2.5 years has only served to destroy lives and mental health, maim and kill people, and divide a mostly peaceful nation and world. Those who are playing along at this stage of the game have no excuse and are complicit in the wanton destruction. Although some may say we deserve what we are going through, innocent children do not. Woe to those who are going along with this madness.
